In 2016 Turkey takes the leading position in Global property price increasing
Over the last year the highest increasing of the price for residential real estate in the world was recorded in Turkey. This conclusion was made by Global Real Estate Consultants “Knight Frank” in its quarterly report Global House Price Index. They monitored and compared the performance of mainstream residential markets across the world and made the list of 55 countries with the highest rates.
From the first quarter of 2015 to the first quarter of 2016 the value of Turkish property increased at 15.3%.
Sweden with 13.9%, and New Zealand, which has 11.0% took second and third positions. According to Knight Frank reports, since the beginning of the international financial crisis, value of residential real estate in these countries increased at 43% and 48%.
43 countries from the 55, showed positive rating in prices changing (in the national currency). Ukraine left at the last place – value of residential real estate for last year in this country fell at 10.5%.
