Resident’s Permit

THE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW WHEN HAVING RESIDENT’S PERMIT IN TURKEY

 Police stations are the places that you can apply for resident’s permit.

1-      If you like to apply for resident’s permit, you have to do it before your visa is expired.

2-      You have to proove that you have enough cash tol ive in Turkey while staying in. This amount is depending on the duration of your stay (for 1 year, approximetly € 4,500).

3-      The ones who have resident’s permit must present to custom’s officer upon their arrival in Turkey.  

4-      Duration of each resident’s permit is 5 years. Each expired Resident’s permit can be renewed maximum 4 times.

5-      Children under 18 years old will be assign for resident’s permit under the parent’s documents.

6-      The ones who have resident’s permit must apply to any police station in order to renew it 15 days prior to expiration date.

 

DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR RESIDENT’S PERMIT

1-Copf of the title deed or rental contract registered to applier’s name.

2- Passport copy

3- Bank account in the amount of € 4,500

4- Health insurance (price may vary depending on the age and gender)

5- 4 passport picture.

EXPENSES FOR RESIDENT’S PERMIT

Blue Book Fee (Resident’s Permit Document): 50 TL (€ 18)

Fee to be paid to Tax Office: 450 TL (€ 160)

Health Insurance: Between >>> 990 TL – 5,350 TL (€ 350 - € 1,915) This amount may vary depending on the age and gender.

*** Above mentioned fees and expenses will be valid until 31st of December, 2014. After new year the fees might be changed.
